I just had a client a month ago negotiating for some work and he wanted to write into the contract that the program should work on Windows 98. Yes, 98. Not only a HORRIBLE version, but 13 years old and officially unsupported for 9. He tried to tell me the rationale and I basically told him it didn't matter *WHY*... I couldn't target Windows 98, period. ... and there's NO END of companies who have standardized on IE6 and won't upgrade. -D.
