Well, your answer is what I guessed...probably an error while
updating.
Please let me check the contents.
In Versions/A, I have:
"CodesResources" (a textfile, apparently a plist in xml format)
i don't have that, though perhaps it is used for something not
relevant to me (i do sync an iPhone 3G, but i doubt we could
enumerate all the variables to syncing)
Mine is still from before the updating (I color regularly all files,
to keep trace what is changed in /system/Library, and red color
labels indicate a initial setup), it seems to point to the former
"AppleMobileDeviceHelper" in Versions/A/Resources, which had
probably not been used anymore (and for sure are now out of my way).
That could explain the crashes...
So it's fairly ok to guess, that by updating, that thing should have
gone away...
In Versions/A/Resources, I have:
"AppleMobileSync.app" (universal app, v1.0.0)
"AppleMobileDeviceHelper" (universal app, v1.0.0)
i don't have those two
So, I'll give it another try and delete also the CodeResources
file....
Thanks for your help
Rudolf
Hm, no success so far. AppleMobileSync.app is still crashing.
The crashreport is meaningless to me...
Does somebody have a better idea of what to do?
Rudolf
