Howdy All,
I think this represents a new layer of the user interface for desktop computing.
The Macs will now have three user interface layers:
1. Full-Screen Interface - Mission Control, LaunchPad, Dashboard,
FullScreen Apps, ...
2. Traditional Mac GUI - menu bar, windows, ...
3. Unix Command-line Interface - text
And I wouldn't be surprise if, eventually, a lot of people could get all they
ever want to get done on a Mac in the first layer.
Most people don't want to manage files or folders, or see two apps at once,
they want to edit their photos, or write a document, or play a game, all of
these can be done from the first layer.
It's only the truck drivers that will descend to the second level, like
currently only the technical types descend to the third level.
Just my opinion.
