No Jonathon, I think you may b a "truck driver" and there will always be the traditional GUI for the kind of work you (and me, and most of the people on this list, do). It's probably hard to believe (?) but I think most people who use computers don't multi-task, or at least need to run two applications side-by-side (e.g. think iPad). Most people don't sort things with folders, most people don't know how to (or at least don't want to) arrange multiple windows on the display to work in more than one application. Most people just read their email, browse the Web (a page at a time), talk or video conference with Skype, and perhaps play some games or watch a movie. Most people (but probably less than those just mentioned) want to look at and edit their photos (you can see photos side-by-side), most people want to work on simple documents (perhaps inserting photos), ... Most people drive automatic (as opposed to manual gear changing) cars. Most people is a huge market.
