I think everybody that's ever done support can understand that . . . My best was the brand new SES4 (very senior executive type) I got in a government agency I supported. He told me he didn't know anything about computers . . .I asked him how he read email . . .his response was that his secretary printed it out, he wrote on it, and she typed/sent the replies. After I explained him that he didn't have a secretary anymore I started showing him how to read his email and open documents . . .this was on an 8100 running System 8 or so. Showed him how to move the cursor and told him to go over and double click with the mouse button on the Macintosh HD icon. He started running the cursor over there but got to the edge of the mousepad before getting to the icon. So . . .he stopped and asked me in all seriousness "What do I do now? It won't get there."
