i have found Chrome pretty austere, though i use it sometimes for Flash
pages; some sites (e.g. hbo.com) say it's not fully supported (though
i've watched HBO streams with Chrome anyway)
i took it for another whirl today to see what you were talking about;
you're right it's pretty fast, and the selection of plug-ins seem to
have caught up a bit
i found it completely hogs my core2duo CPU when watching videos; and
there are some features i miss that i get from Glims:
* open tabs immediately to the right of the current tab (chrome does an
unwelcome variation)
* place downloads in dated folders
and i use 1Password a lot, but having just installed the Chrome alpha, i
am pretty disappointed -- it's not nearly as discrete as in other
browsers, but the dealbreaker is that it doesn't just insert passwords
but also submits the form, with no place to change that; this is
breakage for me
so i can use chrome, but not as my main browser
