I wish that were the case for me. 16GB [maxed out] Core i7 late 2009 iMac 
running 10.6.8.

I have to quit it several times a day or I've got no free memory left in my 
system, which makes it very, very hard to login when I've locked the screen 
after stepping away from my Mac.
