Is that total usage of all Safari-related processes?  My real memory for Safari 
(and Safari Web Content and Flash Player and Xmarks and ...) is on the way to 
3GB.  

I won't say that's ludicrous because I like the quick access to all windows 
(around 25) and all tabs (1-10 for each Window) but it does seem rather large 
(a decision Apple no doubt clearly made).

Quick access that is, unless it crashes and has to reload all tabs.
