Apple Token is not available (in 10.6.8 or 10.7.3) unless you set up the account with the default iCloud setup - which I don't want to….but I did set it to password and SSL is checked (and port 993 specified) > > <http://dl.dropbox.com/u/44770560/Mail_advanced.PNG> > >> I tried using <username>@me.com, <username>@mac.com and just <username> and >> none worked. >> >> I also noticed that in my normal Mail.app with iCloud turned on, the server >> was listed as p99-imap.mail.me.com, so I tried that with all three usernames >> above. > > The pxx-imap prefix will be set automatically, without you doing anything. > you should enter imap.mail.apple.com I tried with and without it. They say that this is happening intermittently, and in fact that there is a long list of known minor issues with iCloud that they are fixing, usually several every day. They also told me that MobileMe migration is dicey. Often it tells you that migration was successful when there were really issues migrating and this might be the cause of my issue. I have sent screen shots to Level 2 Tech and Engineering and they say they are looking into it. Typical Apple support and software quality…sadly. I could live with webmail only on my old (10.6.8) iMac, but I really need a flat IMAP account on all my other devices (Macs and iOS)…..so I'll keep looking.
