This was a welcome change (Snow Leopard?). I have a related problem in that the cables I've plugged into the back of my iMac (FW800 especially) don't stay well connected when I adjust the viewing angle of the unit (tilting the iMac up or down). Sometimes drives "unmount". I wish the newer connectors had some way to hold them better in place! (They don't come out, but become 'not well seated' in the sockets.) Apple should add some sort of restraining clamp over the connectors (or something...) _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
