Do I quit iTunes, move the iTunes folder, and then open iTunes and use Advanced 
Preferences to change the pointer? Answering my own question, I guess that must 
be the sequence, since it would not work too well if I first tried to change 
the pointer to a location that did not yet exist. :)

I guess it's because I've always kept my camcorder videos and EyeTV recordings 
in subfolders within the ~/Movies directory.  I suppose I could keep them 
elsewhere and not bother with links.  Is that your point?  If I do decide to 
make them appear to be in ~/Movies, though, is a symbolic link the best option?
