I haven't been able to figure it out, but I commonly have to enter my iTunes credentials into iTunes (Mac OS X) numerous times for automatic downloads or iTunes Match before it sticks.
The challenge response panel continues to pop up and doesn't accept my credentials. Sometimes, quitting iTunes and making several more attempts gets me through. Any idea why this is happening? Any others seeing this? The problem has been going on for a long time, as far back as Mountain Lion. Suggestions for how I might fix this?
