Yes, it does.

BTW, Safari is the best behaved browser with regards to cookies in that it does 
not allow third party cookies. Third-party cookies are the bad ones 
(potentially bad at least). There is no reason in Safari to block all cookies 
unless you really want to have a noticeably worse web experience in the 
interest of a purely illusionary increase in privacy.
