Hi Carl:

I was looking for one with ‘energy’ in the name…..

As well as the one you mention, there are several other prefs with names like:

com.apple.PowerManagement.FF68Z3SC-D8EE8-784A-992A-7C92048094E4.plist

I’ve trashed the lot to see what happens, but why the ‘long name’ files and 
what are they 
referring to?
