However Fink did do the job. I'd also be grateful to hear how to do it yourself. A word of warning. If you want to use XML::Parser under mod_perl and Apache you'll probably need to recompile them as Apache will have compiled ExpatLite in by default leading to conflicting duplicated symbols. The good news is that the latest version of Apache automatically detects whether you already have expat installed.
