Looking at this script I see that the proprietary driver is apparently what is 'talking' to the USB port. The rest is merely data handling or a terminal session to a device, or apparently so.
Is there any way to address the USB port directly? For example to work with a game controller or some other auxillary device such as a haptic feedback mouse? (Where you can theoretically mouse-over a hot-spot & have the controller shake in your hand to simulate texture or something. (see the iFeel mouse for PC's)) On Thursday, August 29, 2002, at 04:09 PM, Bill Stephenson wrote: > > >> ---------- >> From: Bill Stephenson[SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] >> Sent: Thursday, August 29, 2002 4:09:22 PM >> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> Subject: Re: Accessing USB Port >> Auto forwarded by a Rule >> > I've asked this "Accessing USB Port" question a couple of times here > and so > have a few others.
