That's right. Joe's script interacts with the KeySpan USB PDA Adapter
driver. This allows you to access devices that are usually plugged into a
serial port.

But it should work with other serial port devices too. The KeySpan driver
was designed to use with a Palm PDA but Joe's script uses the KeySpan driver
to "Talk" to a Garmin GPS device. It uses the "NEMA" standard to do this.
Messages are sent to, or received from, the device plugged into the USB port
with the KeySpan Adapter.

So, if your "iFeel mouse" will plug into the adapter, then into a USB port,
you should be able to send and receive data using the KeySpan driver to
provide the "Glue" you need.

KeySpan has the drivers available for most every system. They are included
with the USB PDA adapter and are available for download at their website.

You'll also need to get some info from the "iFeel mouse" creators to see
what messages you can send/receive with their mouse. It's possible that they
have a driver you can use too.

This is all pretty new to me still, so others on the list may be able to
provide corrections to the above and/or more detail.
