When you have success, could you kindly post what finally worked? Perl version, particular versions of Bricolage's dependencies .... I have got myself cornered at the moment on a non-critical development machine and I'd prefer to have a solution that did not involve a reinstall, as this will not be acceptable on my production box when I see a similar problem.
