Wow, that's all about wrong. First off, at least with shareware you can try it. Second, I own Weatherpop, Virtual Desktop, and Window Shade: The support for these products has been phenomenal, they do exactly what they said they would do and they are damn useful. Total price for all these apps? 35USD! AppleWorks was like 80USD, it sucks, support is nonexistent and it DOES NOT do all it said it would! Finally if I ever write anything useful enough that someone else wants to use it I would like to make a few bucks off it... (And hey if anyone wants to buy a Perl Script that copies my Resume to my Windows box, you let me know!)
