Well now, in MY humble opinion, the "Perl for Dummies" was my
starting point. But, if you've done any programming at all, you'll
soon discover that you're going to outgrow it soon. Once you're done
with it, rip out the section in the appendices on the summary. It's
better than the O'Reilly quick reference.
It's really easy to get started! Trust me!
