Ahhhh! The elusive "Power and Ease". At one point I even had it on order for six weeks at Amazon. I cancelled in the end because the ship date kept going back. I finally got a copy and well worth it too (if you want a copy DevDepot is your best bet). I find MacPerl much easier to use than U*ix perl, even though I work almost exclusively in OS X nowadays. It looks after all the paths and permissions for you (well, the classic Mac OS does really) and Chris Nandor is a saint/God/fill in your preferred deity here... I keep a Mac with 9.1 on it just for MacPerl and MPW and it's a great environment, especially for Mac programming for beginners (if you can cope with MPW, you'll walk through PB/IB).
