Case 1. Starting with MacPerl application NOT running: Double-clicking
MacPerl application icon causes MacPerl to launch and run normally.

Case 2. Starting with MacPerl application NOT running: Double-clicking any
MacPerl droplet icon or dropping a document or folder on a droplet icon
causes MacPerl to launch, camel cursor appears and spins briefly but the
droplet script does NOT run.. MacPerl is left in the state as in case 1.

Case 3. Starting with MacPerl application running: Double-clicking any
MacPerl droplet icon or dropping a document or folder on a droplet icon
causes camel cursor to appear and spin the droplet script to be executed
normally.

This problem is not affected by trashing MacPerl preferences or rebuilding
the desktop.
