I'm living directly off Linus's git tree and things are > mostly working except for a few things. I have juste build the stock 2.6.17.11 kernel, with the SVN patches. Here is the way: - download the stock 2.6.17.11 kernel sources - get the svn trunk from http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mactel-linux - update the patch version.patch - apply all the patches - reverse-apply the imacfb.patch - build the kernel - install the kernel - run gptsync (altough I'm not sure this is necessary). I will add a little text on this to the http://wiki.debian.org/MacBookPro page. > > All the things that I have try has result in a problem at boot. Yes ! This was the reason ! Having the imacfb.patch applied cause troubles on the frame buffer in console mode. Removing it is the correct solution for me. :-) I could now continue configuring the MacBook Pro. :-) Thanks for your help.
