All information I have is that the current ATI drivers, 8.34.8, are not compatible with kernel 2.6.20, that is expected later this month. You didn't say which ATI drivers you are using, the current I see is version 8.34.8. I have gotten accelerated working with an earlier ATI driver, kernel 2.6.18, and an ATI X1900 (that kernel does not work well on the Mac Pro) The current ATI driver, 8.34.8, should work with kernel 2.6.19 but I haven't had time to try, I have not gotten it to work with kernel 2.6.20 and ATI X1900 as expected.
