wait and see if you can get suspend to ram working on these new MBP's :|
marco
Well, It's a crap shoot getting it to work now... :-) no big loss. I'd much
rather have an nvidia chip. I got suspend working once on 2.6.19 I
believe...
Oh.. Out of curiosity... You guys should pop out your battery and take a
look at the circuit board underneath it. You'll see some "white dots".. Mine
are brown due to heat issues. God I love my macbook... I'm so glad Apple
sold me a quality product... :-) Who knows if it would have happened if I
had just been running OSX the whole time tho...
Kidding aside, I still like my macbook but I'm peeved at Apple for not
testing these things more throughly. My dad has been wanting to buy one but
all the issues I've had is scaring him off... This one is about ready to be
returned a second time. Reminds me of Dell.
Also, Apple says to not use the laptop at a tilted angle (WTF?). It'll void
your warranty or something if they could prove you were doing it I guess.
Now they are saying not to use it on your lap... Cute... :-) Don't know if
you guys saw that statement from apple but I just had to laugh when I read
it.
</rant> Sorry... :-)
