yeah, before I got my Nokia E71, I used a 6620 and talks ran great on  
that. that phone was solid as a rock, lol! the only reason I switched  
to the e71 was cuz I got sick of number texting and I wanted to be  
able to do more stuff like twitter and facebook, lol.
but yeah. if talks and mobile speak can run on nokia phones which  
probably aren't as powerful as the IPhone, I don't see why some kind  
of voiceover couldn't run on the IPhone. really, I think all they need  
is a keyboard overlay that could fit over the touch screen somehow.  
maybe it could be optional? like an IPhone accessory or something?

I'm not sure about the inner workings of the IPhone, how much  
processing power it has to run voiceover, but I'm sure if anyone can  
do it, apple can. they've been moving forward with accessibility in  
such a huge way already, the IPhone seems like a natural next step. it  
may not be in this next generation, but I'm sure it's probably coming.
