The old macintalk voice (at that time I believe it was called PlainTalker) was much more robotic. I think it was replaced in the mid-90s. The android people are working on implementing blindness accessibiliity into the G1 (and apparently the android platform). The phone uses a touchscreen. Apparently wherever the finger lands will be the 5 key, so all one has to do is slide their finger in the direction of the desired number. Was this posted here already? Hmph.
