Excellent, VO A is just the ticket to read the progress.
I believe the download ticking is a Mac sound.  I hear it on my wife's  
MacBook and she does not use VoiceOver.  I did confirm that my box for  
sounds is checked in the VO utility.  I'll keep hunting.
