Re deleting events in month view, I've found that VoiceOver has some problems with focus. Keyboard focus and VoiceOver focus seem to get separated, and this results in either not being able to delete an event or deleting the wrong one. I've been able to eventually fix this by using just the arrow keys to navigate around, rather than the VoiceOver keys.
