I have no idea how you ended up like that, but I suppose it’s possible that at some point you imported the same machine twice. Glad to hear that no other adverse consequence resulted. Yes, it’s just a link. You can open any package anywhere in your filesystem and Fusion will then track it, much as iTunes tracks tracks in its library.
