Haven't tried that game, but did play Achiafor a while.

In Mudwalker, after you've installed it and got it going, or when you
just normally open it it will come up with an Untitled screen.
Interact with the edit fieldand start typing the world name, or host
name. For example for Mud.legend, I just type the letters l e, and
it fills in the rest because it's been ther. Then back out the
interaction, VO spacebar on the CONNECTbutton, go back into the same
edit field, use VO end key which wil take you to bottom of the
current screen. At that time you should be in blank lines. VO up
arrow you will find either a statement of "looking up" which isn't
good because it didn't find host, or "by what name shall we know
you." At that point just enter your charicter name, or whatever the
game requires you to type to form a new charicter.

With Mudwalker though, you will be dealing with VO END key a lot, and
I've also found that when I type anything active in a mud, you of
course hit enter/return, but you also have to hit tab or you just get
a bonk sound from VO. But once you've learned that repetitive
habbit, you probably won't even think about it.

every once in a great while though Mud walker will get goofy though,
and you will be moving around, and not see anything but your repeated
stat bar, or equally as bad, what you were typing in as inputbut not
output. At that point, go to Recall, or Rent save, or whatever your
particular world's system is for getting out safely, and close
Mudwalker down, then restart it a little later and it should be ok
when you re-conect. I see that happen more on mud legendthough, but
over time I have played that game the most I think.

Just tried 4 dimensionsyesterday and that seemed to work ok.

Also if you see a game on the web that's interesting, just go over
and open Mudwalker, go back over to Safari or whatever and copy
address and paste it then on end of host name just type (:) with the
( and ) of course, and then the port number they give, click conect
and it should hook up.

If mudwalker as an application already has information about a world
though, it will like Safari's address field start filling it in.
It's default in those situations is to already have it highlighted,
but even your first letters though unhighlighted will carry through
as long as you just stop interacting and go click connect.

It's a simple application, but in some ways it's pretty good, in
others like some of the other applications we've discussed it has
limitations, and sometimes can be a pain.

It also probably depends on your style of how you like to play games
as well.
I just remembered though a problem I had today. While in 4
Dimensions,I was doing their quest academyand in one room I typed the
Word "clue" it reacted with usaying me the words that the charicter
would say to get the clue, but I couldn't get the information via VO,
so that was a little bit of a bother, but survivable, wound up
figuring that one out anyway unlike a couple of others *lol.* So I
think certain types of text are not always picked up by VO in
Mudwalker, but that may happen as well in Atlantis, can't remember
because it's been a while since I've played with that. Think it was
last May when I used that.

Hope that can give you a little bit of a start. Mudwalker does have
a list as well, it's not overly active, but every once in a while
somebody will have a question, and usually somebody will try to
answer it constructively.

I think the only thing I've heard about Mudwalker and SL is that
there is an issue with games running rosettaand it crashing mudwalker
sometimes. I can't say anything about VO and Mudwalker with SL
though or even Lepardsince I'm still using Tiger here, others will
have to address that.
