For my part, I run ClamXAV. It has already saved my bacon on at least one occasion just the other day. I got an e-mail from a spam bot pretending to be Wells Fargo bank. Even though I did not open the e-mail itself, I would have been in real trouble had I not been running ClamXAV. How accessible is it? Nearly totally. It costs, but, it’s worth it. But it isn't as if they can't get viruses, it is more that the virus writers concentrate on writing viruses for windows and android phones. If antivirus and anti-malware programs are necessary, which ones are accessible? Thanks in advance for any information. I am going to the Apple store on Wednesday afternoon, and unless I discover something completely unforeseen, I will buy my mini then.
