One problem that seems to be a problem for me is that oin mail, If I
delete a message in a thread instead of fockusing on the next message in
the thread, it will dump me to either the last message in a thread or
the next message or thread. This has been going on since the beta of
serria. I have tried reinstalling thinking it was something ipn the os,
but still the same thing happens. It is very strange. I have reported
this to apple accessibility, but it is still not fixed. For the record,
I am using a late 2013 imac with 8 gb of ram and a 1 TB Hard drive.

I agree with you that this will probably be the last version of the operating
system to work on 2010 macs, my mac mini and macbook are from 2010, so will
probably be upgrading those next year. I understand some features not working,
and I'm ok with that, but if an operating system is going to work on a
computer, it should not have a major issue like this that completely prevents
you from completing what you are working on and requires you to reboot. I will
give Samantha a try and see if this solves the issue.

Hey Mike. It sounds like all Apple voices have this issue. The funny thing is
when I'm using either the Nuance or Acapela voices, this issue doesn't happen.
As for people saying that Apple is lacking in quality, everybody has their own
opinions and I don't agree with everything people say about the subject. But
keep in mind that you are using Sierra on a 2010 model. Not everything will
work as flawlessly as we want them to. I think Sierra will probably be the last
OS that 2010 models will be supported as the demand for processor power is
getting higher and higher every year. And now that the new Macs are out, a lot
of features in 10.13 will probably cator to those models.

Hey everyone, so, I decided to upgrade to sierra starting with my 2010 mac
mini, also just upgraded the memory to 4 GB. I must say, so far I have had a
few major problems. First, the recovery disk assistant does not seem to work
with sierra to allow you to clone the recovery partition to an external USB
drive. I was able to do this manually using terminal, but the task is now
definitely more time consuming. I did get this done and my recovery usb drive
now works. A more serious issue relates to voiceover, I'm wondering if anyone
else has experienced this. Several times, for no apparent reason, voiceover
just quits speaking. It's hard to tell when it will happen, I have not found
any pattern to consistently reproduce it, but when it happens, I have to
completely reboot to get speech back. The audio itself is not muting, error
sounds still play, and pressing command+F5 to reenable it does not work either.
I've actually tried unplugging my speakers from the mac mini, and am using the
internal speaker, and so far it is working, though I would rather not use this
as my solution, just trying to do some process of elimination. Has anyone else
experienced this with sierra, and if so, have you found any way around it. This
was never an issue with previous operating systems.
