I thought i heard earlier this year that december would be that model and 
january would be the mac pro.
Yes to the pro tools hdx cards.
I have them in a card cage now & was hoping the mac pro was being released 
earlier than next january! :(
I have several thunderbolt drives and heard the new mac pro could handle them.
