Hi: My Mini is a 2015. It has an old style disk drive. Hope this helps you to help me. I may in the future look to adding Lenox as this would help my brother with working with my Mac. He uses Lenox and is my go to person if Mini is not working correctly, although I am learning more every day. However, putting another operating system on my Mac is far above my pay grade right now. Yes, he could teach me lenox.
