A bit of background here; I have an old PC (Vista) I use for scanning documents and printing out whatever. This PC is not connected into the network router I’m using with my Mini Mac, iPhone and iPad because I don’t care to deal with the anti-virus software so necessary when made vulnerable by using network connections.
However, I would like to be able to readily transfer files from my Mini-Mac to the PC (PDF documents for printing). Is it prudently feasible to connect the PC to the Mac-Mini via USB (or another possible hard-wired approach) such that the PC would appear as a device to the Mac? A device that could be browsed much like any other device? **************** - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - "It is even harder for the average ape to believe that he has descended from man." - US Editor and Satirist, H.
