Hello everyone, I am having a very difficult time with my Mac constantly switching from Alex, my preferred English voice, to Daniel. This frequently happens with system messages, but it also occurs when I am reading my mail. When using German, this problem does not arise, which is at least good.
What I want is to have Alex speaking English for everything, when I am working in the English language. I don’t want my MacBook to constantly reverting to Daniel. What can I do? Is there perhaps a way to get rid of Daniel altogether? I am running macOS Mojave, version 10.14.2 and I have a 2016 MacBook Pro. In my Mac preferences, under VoiceOver, my voice for English is set to Alex.
