Hello, You mention that one place you are hearing Daniel is on system messages. There is an option in system settings under Dictation and Speech to read system messages. This willies the default system voice not VoiceOver voices. So this might be your issue. Two other possibilities: 1. Perhaps you have a VoiceOVer Activity for Mail 2. If automatic language switching is on and your e-mail messages have lang=en/gb it is possible that VoiceOver will switch to the British English voice.
