Nope. I checked that, and it’s off. Just did a total shutdown and reboot. Still no difference. TextEdit insists on operating in Tabs mode rather than Windows mode. Wonder if there was an update recently? Only one I noticed was for Safari. And no, I’m not using Catalina. Mojave 10.latest.
