I just tried this, and it did not work. The message that was in junk did not go back to my inbox. It is gone, gone, gone… Glad I used a message that I didn’t care about.

This message was received in my gmail account, if that has any bearing. And I was not able to find a way on the Mac to mark it as “not junk” as I had suggested earlier. That options is not there. Have no idea where that message went. I checked all my trash and junk folders, as well as all my inboxes.

I think this is a bug.

Rather than moving it from junk to the inbox, it might be important first to mark it as not junk, then move it. It’s possible tha message will not go to the inbox if it is still marked as junk.
