Yes it does. It works both ways.At least it does on my Mac, where I'm using AT&T/Yahoo email. I thought that was the command that moved a message from inbox to spam. does it work the other way too? I’ll have to give that one a shot.
Using the command CMD + Shift + J, marks and item as not Spam, and moves it to the Inbox.
Another thought on this, as I have also lost a message or two in the past when accidentally pressing backspace inside, and deleting it.
Rather than moving it from junk to the inbox, it might be important first to mark it as not junk, then move it. It’s possible tha message will not go to the inbox if it is still marked as junk.
