Yeah the only bad in " things people are saying is that it's too little too 
nothing mack.

But these people want it to be a final cut editor a Pro Tools 128 multi tracks 
Dolby Atmos session for the next JP or Lord of the Wrings Film edditor.

Like I think the people trashing are mostly geeks and nurds and as such meh 
never mind the Neo it's no studio they say.

The strategy that works for me is to buy a high-end system and to keep
it for, let's say, 7-8 years or even longer before upgrading.

My current MacBook Pro dates from 2021 (M1 Pro chip, 32GB of RAM). It's
hard to find an objective measure, but Voiceover seems more responsive
on this machine now than it was when I bought it. I'm noticing fewer
accessibility-related bugs as well, thus fewer reasons to complain.
