Hi,

You simply need to change a few things in your verbosity.

1. Open the VoiceOver Utility.
2. Go to the Verbosity category, then leave it on general and expand the 
"Details" exclosure triangle.
3. Locate "Window" in the table that will appear to the right of the expanded 
triangle, then interact. Find the Menu button right next to it.
4. VO-Space, then pick "Custom…" then deselect "Type".

Keep in mind that this will disable it so that you are never told that it is a 
window, of course. You can always set this back to the default. I've been 
reading this thread once in a while when it had messages, so I'm sorry if I'm 
totally off course here.

You will still be read the subject line as expected. I assume this is what you 
wanted?
