Thanks Anne. I decided to go with ABBYY and I was very pleasantly surprised to find it could scan directly from my HP CM3320NF scanner/printer device. Just took a quick test with it and seemed to do ok. I am not sure though if it was having issues with the text or there was foreign language on the same page, so going to check with my wife, but the words I could recognize seemed fine.
