You might want to check the Canon drivers page if you need a driver for it.
I am using the Canon Lide 200 on my Mac Book Pro quite well with Docu Scan
Plus.
We checked at work on Omni Page for Mac and the latest version we could find
will not work on Snow Leopard or Lion. It apparently is about 4 years old.
Obviously, Nuance doesn't seem to think there is much of a market for OCR
software on the Mac.

HI all,
My husband just bought a macbook air that he hopes to use for school. He has
a canon scanner model lide 600f that he's been using with Omnipage in
Windows, but there is no Omnipage for Mac apparently. Does anybody have
experience with this scanner and vuescan or abbyy FR express? He had poor
luck with these programs on an older Mac. I'm hoping this scanner with the
up to date os n the new Mac will work better.
