Missie, Though I am not giving up just quite yet, and still'm willing to give one more update a chance, I must say if 10.7.2 doesn't fix things whenever it may come out, I will be going back to 10.6, as frankly, you can kick me, scream at me, and spank me LOL! OK, just kidding on the last one, LOL! all you want, but that's my storih, and I'm a stickin too it.

The com.apple.doc.extra thing is still there, and if possible, midi playback sounds even worse than it did with the original release of lion. I'll definitely be sticking with snow leopard for the forseeable future, but will continue to install lion updates onto my external drive so I'll be able to test it periodically and see if anything has been fixed. Thanks for letting us know the update was released, and here's to hoping that the next update actually has noticeable improvements.
