Yes it is.  One thing you might try is to relaunch the finder which I have to 
do sometimes as sometimes my computer will say whatever was last in focus in 
the finder every few minutes until I relaunch it.  To do this, find finder in 
the dock and press VO+shift+m to go to the context menu and press r or arrow  
relaunch..  Hope that helps.
