Hi Bil and others,
I think I can confirm your problem and It's like you says: all works well
unless you have to select text that is not splitter by another control like
button, checkbox, link...
Yes, there are a few workarounds like vo+shift+c or vo+enter to accomplish this
task but, why different ways for such simple task like selecting text on a
webpage.
IN windows, it works also with shift+control+arrow keys like in a editor.

My problem I have is with tables: when searching for timetables of the train.

There is something on the screen like this:
startstation starttime stopstation stoptime change duration
startstation(link) 11:10h stopstation(link) 12:00h 50 min. 0 50 min.
(perhaps here some textual comments about actual changes)
startstation(link) 12:10h stopstation(link) 13:00h 50 min. 0 50 min.
(perhaps here some textual comments about actual changes)
startstation(link) 13:10h stopstation(link) 14:00h 50 min. 0 50 min.
...

It's difficult to select this table because of the restrictions bill is
speaking about and, I think, it's to much for the vo+shift+c command.
With command+a, command+c, this is a lot off more work.

Als, the fact that this topic is coming back som much , I think it means that
Apple should find a solution for this that works in all situations...

That's my opinion.

Any hints/comments are very welcome.

kind regards,
William Windels
