No, this was what I got last July and why I went ahead and bought my mini.
They still don't even acknowledge there's a problem.  They say no one has
reported it, I sent them many emails from folks on this list, and now they
don't respond to my emails.

So I went ahead and emailed the apple accessibility folks if they could 
document when this was fixed so folks know if they need a monitor or 
not. My assumption is that they just got it wrong but, if they have it 
fixed, they need to say what models no longer need the display to 
function correctly. Maybe the latest video chipsets really do have it 
fixed, but I'm not holding my breath.
