My problem is that I am also having finder busy forever problems with a
monitor connected. They had me reformat my Mini about 7 times and run scans
and send data. They also convinced me to take a day off work and have my
wife drive an hour each way to the Apple store to show them there. Haven't
heard from them in about a month. Last several messages to the tech folks
regarding my case number trying to find out what the status is have been
ignored.

Yeah and additionally, I learned on one of these lists that VO won't
turn back on automaticdally at login time unless a monitor is
connected. My communications with Apple support was all by phone but
I did get a phone acknoledgement that their engineers were able to
reproduce this problem and indicated that they would try and address
it some time. It was after that time and when I installed dropbox
that I ran into my lag "busy" problems. So I gave up on that whole
mess and ordered a cheap monitor through our IBM employee discount
system for $70. Then I don't have to wait around forever to see if
Apple really addresses these issues. I just hope I can cdonnect that
monitor to the little addapter that comes with the Mini. Oh, I bought
my Mini in January; dunno the actual date the unit was built.
